From the beginning of the war on February 24, 2022. of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, Chernihiv Oblast suffered massive destruction of civilian and infrastructural facilities and faced a humanitarian catastrophe.
From the territory of the Russian Federation and Belarus, the troops of the invaders invaded the northern borders of Chernihiv Oblast, mercilessly destroying everything on their way to Chernihiv and Kyiv. Many villages, towns,
Territorial communities suffered devastating destruction from Russia's military aggression, many people lost everything - housing, property, means of livelihood. Unfortunately, many human lives were lost...
The Ramena Charitable Foundation is launching a public initiative to restore lost housing
ordinary residents of Chernihiv Oblast, solving humanitarian problems of the population, and development
some civil infrastructure objects of communities.
Together with our Partners, we are starting to attract funds from benefactors and everyone who cares for
assistance to residents of Chernihiv Oblast who were left without housing and means of livelihood.
Step by step, we will help rebuild the housing of people affected by the consequences of the war,
restore destroyed social facilities, and solve humanitarian issues of the population.
It is worth noting that at the present time residents of the border villages and towns of Chernihiv Oblast, which
are on the border along the border with the aggressor, suffer losses and destruction of property from permanent

they lose the opportunity to live peacefully and engage in economic activities, to provide for themselves
elementary living. In connection with this, many residents of such border areas are in need
immediate resettlement in the depths of the region where artillery fire does not reach. For these needs,
we collect funds for the construction of temporary modular housing for such urgently displaced people
